Music as balm for the soul. When the world is rocking, boiling and shaking, it offers as a counterbalance the opportunity to experience human community, solidarity, comfort, respect, a moment of beauty and peace for the senses.
Beautiful classical favourites and for you perhaps also newer acquaintances are offered “In Rememberance of the Fallen” on the Day of the Fallen 17.5, by violinist Frida Backman and pianist Kaisa-Mari Hartikainen with the young Music Warriors.
Free admission is made possible thanks to support from the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Sweden.
The program includes classic favorites as Saint-Saëns Swan, Sibelius Valse Lente, Selim Palmgren The Sea, Vaughan Williams Lark Ascending and many more.

#Karis – Karjaa 700
The concert is the fourth in the Karis Classical series, which celebrates Karis 700 with very popular free concerts in the Phoenix Hall thanks to broad support from funds for the anniversary year. The concerts have all been filmed by KEXTV and are available to listen to in the program archive for those who missed it.
