Family day in Pumpviken
Time: Saturday 8.8.2026 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Location: Pumpviken parkarea by the adventure course.
The family day in Pumppulahti is part of the Karis-Karjaa 700 anniversary year.
In the park area around the Pumppulahti adventure trail, local associations present plenty of activities for families with children.
The following actors will be present: 4H Raasepori, Folkhälsan i Karis, Karjaan VPK, Karis Flickorna, Karis Gossarna, Karis-Pojo svenska församling, Karis UF, Karjaan Ura suunnistus, Lions Club Karis-Karjaa, MLL Karjaan yhdistys, Naturskolan Uttern and Grannens Familjecafé.
Family Day is an activating and participatory event for the whole family. You can explore and try, among other things:
- orienteering
- canoeing
- nature trail
- music direction
- pedal tractors
- a fire engine and a tractor
- fire extinguishing wall
- studying aquatic insects in Pumppulahti
- programme for the youngest children in the family aged 0–2
- memory game and much more.
Grilled sausages, coffee, juice, pastries and waffles are on sale. Come and spend a fun afternoon with the whole family!
